An overdue AXO reunion

Perfectly timed (for me, less so for her), I had the good fortune to get to host a dear MIT friend and sorority sister, Anya, this past weekend. It was our fourth time reuniting in Paris since our MIT days, and the city still has its grip firmly on us both. We caught up, did you standard touristy rounds of the city, oh-- and emptied Peter's place of all my belongings, but that's a story for another day.

The stories of our weekend, those of a reunion of old friends with the misfortune of always crossing paths when life has got us down, are hardly blog-worthy. For lack of a better story, nor the time to thread one together in between an impending scientific article submission and the acrobatic balancing of my thesis and the week's Airbnb rentals, a montage of the weekend will have to suffice.
Another AXO reunion in Paris... these need to happen more often

For a trip down memory lane, I've found my old blogposts on the good times Anya and I have had in Paris in 2008 and 2010, and 2011 in London. I love having friends with whom I can grow in parallel and still keep in touch. Here's to hoping that next time to the two of us catch up at a less dramatic moment in our lives.
