Thinking in the shadow of the Thinker

In the shadow of the Thinker: there are worse ways to spend an afternoon sifting through the literature of an esoteric *cough* highly relevant academic subject

To celebrate the last day of a month of semi-freedom in lab, I brought some of my papers away from my desk to focus better for an hour or two without the distraction of a computer... at the nearby Rodin Museum. If you've got to be a grad student, being under 26 and in Paris (where all the museums are free for residents under 26) is not a bad way to do your PhD.

I took over a museum park bench to read some papers with this as my backdrop.
