A cause for celebration

Finishing up the saga with which I began this blog, today marks the start of my life completely post-Malakoff (the small town just outside of Paris where I'd been living). The stroke of midnight has safely passed and I am now 100% off of that old housing contract.

Valentin and I celebrated freedom from my crazy old housing contract with a fancy Belgian beer stored in champagne barrels in Champagne, France before final bottling. It's two parts beer for one part champagne, and if you won't take my word then perhaps that of a Frenchman would convince you it is definitely worth the price of the bottle (~20€).
